Diary emails and the morning digest
Caseo emails people when they're diarised, and sends everyone a 07:00 summary of the day, so a deadline doesn't depend on someone opening the app.
When an entry is created
An email goes straight away to the person the entry is for, the person who made it, and every Administrator. The subject starts with the date and the matter reference, so it's easy to find later.
The 07:00 morning digest
Every day at 07:00 South African time, each person gets "Diary for [date]: N due, M overdue": their own entries due today plus anything overdue. Administrators get the whole firm's, so a principal sees every overdue item in the practice before the day starts.
Turning them off
Each person can switch off When I'm diarised and Morning digest for themselves under Settings → Notifications. Both are on until switched off.
Other emails Caseo sends
- Client portal messages and uploads: see the client portal.

- A note emailed to a colleague from a matter.
- Invitations to join your firm, sent when an Administrator invites a member.
